Hello Parents,
Please continue to join our class in praying for the people of Ukraine and for peace. The track meet is coming up on Thursday. Please make sure your student has a backpack with a hat, jacket in case of rain (there is no cover in case of rain), packed lunch, snacks and lots of water. They will need to come wearing their PE uniform. There maybe a possibility of a concession stand, so students could bring money for a sweet treat. Students are responsible for their own items and there are no devices allowed.
Learning for students this week:
- Math – Telling Time: elapsed time, 24 hour clock, time to the second, periods of time.
- LA- Publishing our own imaginative stories; Class Read Aloud: The Candymakers and the Great Chocolate Chase
- Science- Grade 5: We are creating an informational poster on a BC Resource. Grade 6: 5 Station Gravity Lab
- French – Numbers to 100 Bingo practice
- Social Studies– Media Bias exploration
- Bible – Book of Psalms and Bible sword drills.
- Art – Fruit Still Life art pieces
- PE – Please make sure your student has their PE uniform and running shoes for Wednesday and Thursday is our Track Meet!
This Week:
Wednesday – Star Wars / Superhero day: Students wear costumes or their uniform.
Thursday – 7am leave from the school and 3:45 return depending on traffic.
Friday – Knights day, no BMV this week.
